Beef-Barley Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    8 c. chicken broth
    4 c. water
    1 c. each: chopped carrots, celery and onion
    1 c. uncooked barley
    3 beef bouillon cubes
    1 to 1 1/2 lb. chuck roast, cut into small pieces (any desired size)
Preparation
    Place all ingredients in soup pot and simmer for several hours.
