Peach Parfait - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/4 c. butter
3/4 c. powdered sugar
1 egg, slightly beaten
1 c. heavy cream, whipped
1/2 c. crushed vanilla wafers
2 c. sliced fresh peaches, dipped in lemon juice
1/4 c. fine chopped ginger
Preparation

In top of double boiler cream butter and powdered sugar.
Add the slightly beaten egg.
Cook over hot water until coats the stirring spoon.
Cool.
Whip the cream and combine with the custard mixture.
In individual tall dessert glasses or large glass bowl layer the crushed wafers, peaches, ginger and custard cream, ending with custard cream to keep peaches from air.
