Cream Cheese Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. margarine
    1 c. sugar
    1 egg
    1 small pkg. cream cheese
    1 tsp. lemon juice
    grated rind of 1/2 lemon
    1 tsp. baking powder
    3 c. flour
Preparation
    Cream margarine and sugar well.
    Add unbeaten egg and mix well.
    Add rind and juice of lemon.
    Then the cheese.
    Add flour and baking powder, sifted together.
    Shape into balls, 1-inch in diameter.
    Place 1-inch apart on cookie sheet and bake in a 375\u00b0 oven for 15 minutes.
    When cool, dip in fondant or cooked frosting and roll in colored sugars or nuts.
