Chili Sauce - cooking recipe
Ingredients

24 tomatoes, peeled and quartered
6 onions, ground (use juice too)
1 tsp. cloves
2 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. allspice
3 c. vinegar (cider)
2 c. sugar
Preparation

Do not cook in aluminum pan.
Set oven at 350\u00b0.
Put mixture in roasting pan.
Cook down in oven, stirring occasionally with wooden spoon.
When about half reduced, add 10 chopped, peeled apples.
Finish reducing.
Quickly ladle into hot jars.
Cover with hot lids and rings.
Set aside to cool.
