Mandarin Mold - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 (3 oz.) pkg. orange gelatin
    1 (11 oz.) can mandarin oranges, well drained
    1 c. orange juice
    1/2 tsp. vanilla
    1 pt. orange sherbet
Preparation
    Dissolve gelatin in 1 1/2 cups boiling water.
    Add juice; allow to cool to room temperature.
    Fold in sherbet and vanilla. Refrigerate until partially set.
    Fold in oranges; pour into mold. Allow to set overnight.
    This is very good made in a ring mold and the center filled with chicken salad.
    Serves 10 to 12.
