Microwave Caramel Corn - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 stick margarine or butter
    1 c. brown sugar
    1/4 c. white corn syrup
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. baking soda
    16 c. popped popcorn, placed in brown paper grocery bag
Preparation
    Mix first 4 ingredients together and put into microwave for 3 minutes on High.
    Stir, bring to a boil and boil for 3 additional minutes.
    Take out and add soda; stir.
    Pour over popcorn in bag. Roll bag closed and place in microwave for 1 minute; take out and shake.
    Return to microwave for 30 seconds, take out, shake well and put onto buttered pan to cool.
    Break apart and store in airtight container.
