Taco Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (16 oz.) ground beef or turkey
    1 small onion, chopped
    1 can kidney beans
    1/2 c. water
    1 pkg. taco seasoning mix
    1/2 to 1 medium head lettuce, wash and torn into bite size pieces
    2 to 3 tomatoes, cut into chunks
    1/2 c. shredded Monterey Jack cheese or Cheddar
    1 c. broken corn chips
Preparation
    In a 2-quart casserole dish, place crumbled ground beef and onion.
    Microwave on High for 4 to 7 minutes or until meat is no longer pink, stirring 2 to 3 times to break it apart.
    Drain, add beans, water and seasoning mix.
    Microwave on Medium for 10 to 13 minutes, until the mixture thickens and bubbles, stirring once during cooking time.
