Barbecued Onions - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    12 small white onions, peeled
    1/4 c. catsup
    2 Tbsp. water
    1 tsp. vinegar
    1/4 tsp. salt
    pinch of pepper
    1 Tbsp. brown sugar
    4 slices bacon, diced and cooked crisp
Preparation
    Parboil onions 5 minutes.
    Drain and place in a buttered shallow 1 1/2 quart baking dish.
    Mix catsup, water, vinegar, salt and pepper.
    Spread over onions.
    Sprinkle mixture with brown sugar and bacon.
    Bake uncovered until tender, 30 minutes, at 375\u00b0.
