Mae'S Fruit Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    8 c. pecans
    3 c. flour
    2 tsp. baking powder
    dash of salt
    1 tsp. almond flavoring
    1 lb. candied cherries
    2 lb. dates
    1 lb. candied pineapple, diced
    8 eggs, beaten
    3 tsp. vanilla flavoring
Preparation
    Cut pineapple and cherries into large chunks.
    Put into large mixing bowl with pecans and dates.
    Combine flour, baking powder and salt and mix into fruit.
    Beat eggs with flavorings and pour over.
    Stir until smooth.
    Add melted candy, mixing well (use hands).
    Put mixture into baking pans lined with foil.
    Bake for two hours at 250\u00b0.
