Beef Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. ground beef
    butter
    1 (16 oz.) can tomato sauce
    1 (8 oz.) pkg. egg noodles (extra wide)
    1 (3 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
    1 (8 oz.) carton sour cream
    6 spring onions, chopped (optional)
    grated Cheddar cheese
Preparation
    Brown beef in butter.
    Add tomato sauce; simmer together for 2 minutes.
    Cook noodles according to package directions until tender; drain.
    While piping hot, mix in cream cheese, sour cream and onions.
    In an 11 3/4 x 9 3/8 x 1 1/2-inch aluminum pan, put one layer of noodle mixture, then one of meat mixture.
    Repeat layers, ending with a layer of noodles on top.
    Sprinkle with grated cheese.
    Freeze.
    To bake, preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
    Thaw and bake for 30 minutes.
