Asparagus Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 can cream of asparagus soup
    1 (3 oz.) pkg. lime Jell-O
    1 ( 8oz.) pkg. cream cheese
    1/2 c. cold water
    1/2 c. mayonnaise
    1 c. finely chopped celery
    1 Tbsp. grated onion
    3 Tbsp. finely chopped green pepper
Preparation
    Heat soup to boiling point.
    Add Jell-O until dissolved.
    Add cream cheese and beat with a hand beater.
    Mix well.
    Add water and mayonnaise and blend well.
    Stir in all other ingredients and chill.
    Serves 6 to 8 when prepared in 8-inch square pan.
    For 9 x 13-inch, double the recipe.
