Beef Stroganoff - cooking recipe
Ingredients

12 oz. boneless, beef sirloin steak, cut 1/2 to 3/4-inch thick
1 (8 oz.) carton low-fat sour cream
2 Tbsp. all-purpose flour
1 Tbsp. low sodium tomato paste
1/2 c. water
1 tsp. beef bouillon granules
1/8 tsp. pepper
6 oz. fettuccine
nonstick cooking spray
2 c. sliced fresh mushrooms
1/2 c. chopped onion
1 clove garlic, minced
1 Tbsp. snipped parsley
Preparation

Trim fat from beef.
Partially freeze beef.
Thinly slice across the grain into bite-sized strips.
In a small bowl, stir together sour cream, flour and tomato paste.
Stir in water, bouillon granules and pepper. Set aside.
Cook the fettuccine according to package directions, omitting the cooking oil and salt.
Drain well.
