Soft Michigan Rock Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 box light brown sugar
    1/2 lb. butter
    4 eggs
    1/2 c. boiling water with 1 tsp. baking soda
    1 lb. dates
    1 lb. walnuts
    1 lb. raisins
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1/2 tsp. salt
    4 c. plain flour
Preparation
    Mix all ingredients well and drop from teaspoon onto cookie sheet.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 20 to 25 minutes.
