Clam Fritters - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 pt. clams
    2 eggs
    1/3 c. milk
    1 1/3 c. flour
    2 tsp. baking powder
    salt
    pepper
Preparation
    Clean clams; drain and chop.
    Beat eggs until light; add milk and flour, mixed and sifted with baking powder.
    Then add chopped clams and season highly with salt and pepper.
    Fry in deep fat at 375\u00b0 until golden brown.
