Ingredients

1 c. butter
1/2 c. powdered sugar
2 tsp. vanilla
1/2 tsp. salt
2 c. flour (unsifted)
2 c. chopped nuts
powdered sugar
Preparation

Cream butter and 1/2 cup powdered sugar.
Stir in vanilla. Add salt and flour and mix well.
Stir in chopped nuts.
Shape into small balls.
Bake on ungreased cookie sheets at 325\u00b0 for 20 to 25 minutes.
Cool slightly on cookie sheets, then roll in additional powdered sugar, if desired.
