Caramel Icing - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. sugar
    3/4 c. cream
    1/3 c. sugar
    1 Tbsp. Karo
    lump of butter
Preparation
    Mix first 2 ingredients together and put over heat. Meanwhile, put 1/3 cup of sugar on to melt, then pour into first mixture, which has boiled, and add Karo.
    Cook until it forms a soft ball in cold water.
    Add butter, cool and beat.
