Sweet And Sour Meatballs - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 envelope onion soup mix
1/2 c. water
2 eggs
2 lb. ground beef
1 (16 oz.) can sauerkraut, drained and snipped
1 (8 oz.) can whole cranberry sauce
3/4 c. chili sauce
3/4 c. water
1/3 c. packed brown sugar
hot cooked rice
Preparation

In mixing bowl, combine soup mix
and 1/2 cup water; beat in eggs with fork.
Add beef; mix well.
Shape mixture into meatballs.
Combine sauerkraut, cranberry sauce, chili sauce, 3/4 cup water and the brown sugar.
Pour half of the mixture into bottom of a 9 x 13-inch pan.
Set remaining mixture aside.
In skillet, brown meatballs quickly.
Drain.
Arrange atop of sauerkraut in pan.
Pour remaining mixture over meatballs.
Cover with foil and bake in 325\u00b0 oven for 20 minutes.
Uncover and bake 15 to 20 minutes longer.
Serve
over rice.
