Ingredients

1 c. sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 to 3/4 c. coconut
6 Tbsp. flour
2 whole eggs
1 1/2 c. whole milk
1/2 stick butter
1 baked Pet-Ritz pie shell (9-inch)
Preparation

Combine sugar, flour, salt and coconut in heavy saucepan.
Add milk, stirring over heat, then add eggs, butter and vanilla while stirring over medium heat.
Pudding done when mixture bubbles and becomes thickened.
Remove from heat.
Pour into baked pie shell.
