Italian Cream Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 stick margarine
1/2 c. shortening
2 c. sugar
5 beaten egg yolks
2 c. flour
1 tsp. soda
1 c. buttermilk
1 tsp. vanilla
1 small can coconut
1 c. pecans
5 egg whites, stiffly beaten
Preparation

Cream together with low speed of mixer the beaten egg yolks. Add and mix well the flour, soda and buttermilk.
Sift flour and soda together. Add alternating, the vanilla, coconut and pecans. Add and mix the 5 egg whites, stiffly beaten.
Fold in.
Bake in three 9-inch pans at 350\u00b0.
