Black-Eyed Pea Jambalaya - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 large onion, chopped
1 bell pepper, chopped
2 pods garlic, minced
2 Tbsp. bacon grease
2 cans black-eyed peas with jalapeno
4 c. cooked rice
1 lb. cooked ham or cooked sausage, cubed
salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
-
Saute onions, pepper and garlic in bacon grease.
After 10 minutes, add black-eyed peas and simmer 1/2 hour.
Mix rice, peas and meat together.
