Ingredients

3/4 c. butter, softened
1/2 c. sugar
1 egg yolk
1 1/2 c. flour
2 Tbsp. raspberry or strawberry preserves
confectioners sugar
Preparation

Mix butter and sugar well.
Add egg yolk; mix well. Stir in flour by hand on lightly floured surface gently.
Knead dough 2 to 3 minutes until thoroughly combined. Roll into 1-inch balls. Place 2-inches apart on greased cookie sheet. Make indention with thumb in center of each; fill with 1/4 teaspoon preserves.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 13 to 15 minutes. Dust with confectioners sugar.
