Pecan Crescents - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. soft butter or margarine
    1/4 c. sugar
    2 c. flour, sifted
    1 c. nuts (I use walnuts)
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Cream butter or margarine with sugar; add remaining ingredients and mix well.
    Chill until firm.
    Roll with your hands, small amounts of the dough, the size of your finger; cut each 1 1/2-inches or 2-inches and shape into crescents.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 about 30 minutes until golden brown on the bottom.
    Check after 20 minutes.
    Roll in powdered sugar when they are cool enough to handle.
