Ingredients

1 c. cold cooked rice
1/2 tsp. salt
1 Tbsp. sugar
2 eggs
1 c. flour
2 tsp. baking powder
4 Tbsp. melted butter
1 c. milk
Preparation

Sift dry ingredients.
Add egg yolks, beaten with the milk. Beat until smooth.
Add rice and melted butter.
Fold in stiffly beaten egg whites.
Bake on hot waffle iron.
Serve at once. Yield:
4 waffles.
