Banana Nut Bread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. sugar
1/2 c. Crisco shortening
4 eggs, well beaten
6 large bananas, mashed
6 Tbsp. buttermilk or sour cream
4 c. flour
1 1/2 tsp. baking soda
2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
1 c. nuts, chopped
Preparation

Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
Grease two 9 x 5 x 3-inch or six 3 x 7 x 3-inch loaf pans.
Mix sugar and Crisco well.
Add eggs, one at a time.
Mix in bananas and buttermilk.
Sift flour, soda, baking powder and salt.
Mix well.
Add nuts.
Pour into loaf pans of your choice.
Bake 45 to 50 minutes or until done.
