Catfish Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. cubed potatoes
    2 c. chopped tomatoes
    1 c. chopped onion
    1 c. chopped green bell pepper
    1 c. whole kernel corn, drained
    1 c. tomato juice
    1 c. water
    2 Tbsp. butter
    2 cloves garlic, minced
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    1/4 tsp. cayenne pepper
    1/2 tsp. dried thyme
    1 1/2 to 2 lb. catfish fillets, cut in 1-inch pieces
Preparation
    Combine all ingredients, except fish, in a 6-quart pot or Dutch oven.
    Bring to boil over high heat. Reduce heat and simmer 15 minutes until potatoes are tender. Add catfish and simmer, stirring occasionally for 12 to 15 minutes until catfish begins to flake.
