Icebox Pickles - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 qt. sliced cucumbers
1 green pepper, chopped
1 onion, sliced
1 tsp. salt
2 c. sugar
1 c. vinegar
1 tsp. celery seed
Preparation
-
Sprinkle peppers and onions over cucumbers.
Let stand one hour or until liquid develops.
Drain off water and pack in jars. Heat sugar, vinegar and celery seed until sugar is dissolved. Pour over cucumbers, seal and put in refrigerator.
