Angel Food Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 egg whites
    1/2 c. sugar
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 c. whipping cream
    1/4 c. sugar
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1/2 c. finely chopped nuts
    1 baked pie shell
Preparation
    Beat egg whites until almost stiff.
    Add 1/2 cup sugar and 1 teaspoon vanilla.
    Beat until mixture stands alone.
    Pour into baked pie shell.
    Place in a slow oven (300\u00b0) and bake until whites are slightly browned, about 30 minutes.
    Remove from oven and cool.
    Whip cream, add 1/4 cup sugar and 1 teaspoon vanilla. Spread evenly over cooled pie.
    Sprinkle top with chopped nuts.
