Wild Rice Soup - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. chopped celery
2 c. sliced, fresh mushrooms
1 c. (1 medium) chopped onion
3 Tbsp. vegetable oil or bacon fat
2 c. cooked wild rice
2 c. water
2 (10 3/4 oz.) cans cream of mushroom soup
2 (10 3/4 oz.) cans cream of chicken soup
8 slices cooked, crumbled bacon
2 c. milk
1/2 c. dry white wine
Preparation

In a 3-quart saucepan, combine celery, mushrooms, onion and oil.
Cook over medium heat; stir occasionally until vegetables are tender (10 to 12 minutes).
Stir in rice, water, soups and bacon.
Reduce heat to low.
Continue cooking, stirring occasionally, for 30 minutes.
Stir in milk and wine.
Continue cooking until heated through (2 to 4 minutes).
