Pepper Steak With Rice - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. hot cooked rice
    1 lb. round steak, diced thin
    1 tsp. paprika
    2 Tbsp. butter
    2 cloves garlic powder
    1/4 c. water
    1/8 c. soy sauce
    2 c. beef broth
    1 c. green onions
    2 green peppers
    2 Tbsp. cornstarch
    2 Tbsp. cooking sherry
    2 tomatoes, cut up
Preparation
    Sprinkle meat with paprika.
    Let stand for 5 minutes.
    In large skillet or pan, brown meat in butter.
    Add garlic, broth and cooking sherry.
    Cover and simmer for 30 minutes.
    Stir in onion and green peppers.
    Cover and cook for 5 minutes.
    Blend cornstarch, water and soy sauce.
    Stir into meat mixture.
    Cook until thick.
    Serve with rice and top with tomatoes.
