Banana Bran Bread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 c. sugar
1 egg
1 1/2 c. mashed bananas (about 4 ripe)
3/4 c. chopped nut meats
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. baking soda
1/4 c. butter
1 c. All-Bran
2 Tbsp. water
1 tsp. vanilla
1 1/2 c. sifted bread flour
Preparation

Cream the sugar and butter together in a bowl.
Beat in the eggs.
Stir in the All-Bran and mix well.
Blend in the mashed bananas, the water and the vanilla.
Stir in the chopped nuts. Sift before measuring the flour and then resift with the baking powder and soda.
Add the sifted ingredients, a little at a time, until all have been mixed into the batter.
Stir only until blended.
Bake about 50 minutes at 350\u00b0 in 8 x 4-inch greased loaf pan.
