Ingredients

1 lb. candied cherries
1 lb. candied pineapple
1/2 lb. raisins
6 c. pecans
1/2 c. butter or margarine
4 eggs, separated
3 c. plain flour
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. nutmeg
1 tsp. soda in 3 Tbsp. sweet milk
1 c. brown sugar
4 oz. fruit juice (I use orange juice)
Preparation

Cream butter and sugar.
Add egg yolks.
Sift 2 cups flour with spices.
Add alternately with milk and juice.
Mix 1 cup flour with cut up fruit.
Add beaten egg whites, then add fruit. Drop on greased cookie sheet.
Bake for 15 to 20 minutes in 325\u00b0 oven.
Do not overcook.
These should be soft.
Makes about 16 dozen.
