Vegetable Soup With Lentils - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. lentils
    6 c. vegetable broth
    3 c. chopped fresh tomatoes
    2 stalks celery, chopped
    1 large potato, diced
    1 large onion, chopped
    1 large carrot, chopped
    2 Tbsp. fresh lemon juice
    3 large cloves garlic, minced
    2 bay leaves
    1/4 c. minced parsley
    1/2 tsp. savory
    1/2 tsp. thyme
    1/2 tsp. oregano
    salt and pepper
Preparation
    Bring to a boil in large saucepan lentils and vegetable broth. Add remaining ingredients.
    Reduce heat, cover and simmer 1 hour. Remove bay leaves and puree half of mixture and add to soup.
