Honey Oatmeal Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/4 c. sugar
    2 eggs
    1 3/4 c. Gold Medal all-purpose flour
    1 tsp. baking soda
    1 tsp. salt
    2 c. quick cooking or regular oats
    1/2 c. chopped nuts
    1/2 c. shortening
    1/3 c. honey
    1 c. raisins
Preparation
    Heat oven to 375\u00b0.
    Mix sugar, shortening, eggs and honey. Stir in remaining ingredients.
    Drop dough by rounded teaspoonful about 2 inches apart onto ungreased cookie sheet.
    Bake until light brown, 8 to 10 minutes.
    Immediately remove from cookie sheet. Makes about 5 dozen cookies.
