Home Canned Sandwich Spread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    12 sweet peppers (some red for color)
    6 onions
    6 green tomatoes
    3 cucumbers or dill pickles
    1 1/2 c. vinegar
    1 1/2 c. water
    2 1/2 c. brown sugar
    3 Tbsp. dry mustard
    2 Tbsp. cornstarch
    3 tsp. salt, mixed with a little water
    1 qt. salad dressing
Preparation
    Put first 4 ingredients through a food chopper, then drain. Add vinegar, water and brown sugar.
    Cook all together until tender.
    Add dry mustard, cornstarch and salt mixed with a little water.
    When thickened, add salad dressing.
    Bring to a boil, pack and seal.
    Process.
