Frozen Cucumber Pickles - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 qt. cucumbers, thin sliced
    1 large onion, sliced (separate rings)
    2 Tbsp. salt
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    1/2 c. vinegar
Preparation
    Sprinkle salt over cukes and onions; let stand 2 hours. Drain off water. Combine sugar and vinegar and pour over pickles.
    Let stand 10 minutes. Stir and place pickles in freezer containers. Keep frozen at least 2 days before eating. Thaw at room temperature, then keep refrigerated. Will keep in freezer for 1 year.
