Cream Of Mushroom Soup - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 to 3 lb. fresh mushrooms, sliced
1 large onion, chopped
2 qt. chicken broth
1 pt. cream
1 Tbsp. flour
1 stick butter
Preparation

Melt butter in a Dutch oven; saute mushrooms and onion.
Add chicken broth and simmer for 1 hour and 30 minutes.
Before serving, put all of the mushroom mixture through a blender, adding 1 tablespoon flour to each blender full, blending to consistency of thin white sauce.
Pour back into Dutch oven and cream and heat until hot.
Do not boil.
Season to taste.
