Vanilla Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/4 c. flour
    1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1/4 tsp. salt
    3 Tbsp. margarine
    3 Tbsp. butter
    1/2 c. sugar
    1 egg
    1/2 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Stir together the flour, baking powder and salt.
    Beat butter, margarine, sugar, egg and vanilla in another bowl until well blended.
    Stir in flour mixture; shape into ball.
    Wrap in plastic. Refrigerate 2 hours.
    Roll out dough on floured surface to 3/8-inch thickness.
    Cut into rounds with 2 1/2-inch cookie cutter.
    Place on cookie sheet sprayed with cooking spray, 1 1/2 inches apart. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 12 minutes or until lightly browned at edges. Cool.
    Frost with glaze.
