Old Fashion Sponge Candy - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. sugar
1 c. dark corn syrup
1 tsp. vinegar
1 tsp. baking soda
Preparation

Combine sugar, syrup and vinegar.
Cook, without stirring, to 300\u00b0 on a candy thermometer.
Remove from heat quickly.
Stir in baking soda.
Mix well.
Place in buttered pan.
Cool and break into pieces.
