Mom'S Curried Zucchini Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lbs. (3 small) zucchini
    2 large onions
    1/2 lb. (2 or 3) tomatoes
    1 quart vegetable or chicken stock
    3 Tbsp. butter
    1 Tbsp. whole wheat flour
    4 Tbsp. water
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 - 2 tsp. curry powder
    1/8 tsp. ginger
    dash cayenne
Preparation
    Saut washed and diced zucchini with sliced onions in 2 Tbsp. of butter, until soft.
    Add stock and cook 20 minutes.
    Slice tomatoes and saut briefly in remaining butter.
    Add to vegetables and bring to a boil.
    Mix flour, curry powder, ginger, salt and cayenne with water and add to soup.
    Simmer 6 minutes.
    Transfer 2 cups at a time to blender and puree.
    Transfer back to pan and reheat.
    Add salt and pepper to taste.
