Corn Fritters - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. enriched flour
    1 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. baking powder
    2 eggs
    1/4 c. milk
    1 Tbsp. melted shortening
    1 1/2 c. cooked whole kernel corn
    fat for deep frying
Preparation
    Sift flour, salt and baking powder into bowl.
    Beat eggs with milk.
    Add melted fat and corn; combine the 2 mixtures lightly. Drop from teaspoon into deep fat heated to 365\u00b0.
    Fry until brown, about 4 to 5 minutes.
    Drain on absorbent paper.
    Great dipped in syrup.
