Shrimp And Cocktail Wiener Batter - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. flour, sifted
1 Tbsp. sugar
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. seasoned salt
1/2 tsp. chili powder
2 eggs, beaten
1/3 c. milk
1 Tbsp. oil or melted butter
3 c. vegetable oil for fondue
shrimp, cooked, shelled and deveined or cocktail wieners, cooked
Preparation

In a small mixing bowl, sift the flour, sugar, baking powder, seasoned salt and chili powder.
Add eggs, milk and oil or butter; stir until smooth.
Heat oil in fondue pot to 375\u00b0.
Spear shrimp or wieners and dip into batter; drain well.
Place in hot oil, resting fork on edge of pot.
Do not use more than 8 forks at a time.
Fry until batter is golden brown, about 3 to 4 minutes. Remove and cool slightly.
Serve with tartar or seafood sauce, ketchup, mustard or barbecue sauce.
Makes batter for 20 to 25 shrimp or wieners.
