Bran Muffins - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 1/4 c. all-purpose flour
1 Tbsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. bran cereal (not flakes)
1 1/4 c. whole milk
1 egg
1/4 c. vegetable oil or substitute 1/4 c. applesauce
Preparation

Grease muffin pans.
Preheat oven to 400\u00b0.
In a small bowl, stir together the first four ingredients.
In a large bowl, stir together the cereal and milk.
Let stand for 2 minutes.
Add egg and oil; stir.
Add flour mixture, 1/3 at a time.
Blend between each addition.
Do not beat.
Fill muffin cups 3/4 full.
Bake for 18 to 20 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
