Ingredients

1 1/2 gal. green tomatoes, quartered
1/2 gal. onions, quartered
1 pt. chopped hot peppers
1 qt. sugar
1 qt. vinegar
1 scant c. salt
Preparation

In a large pot, bring salt, sugar and vinegar to a rolling boil.
Add vegetables and cook only until onions are barely limp. Place into clean, hot jars and seal.
