Fried Ice Cream - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/4 lb. oleo/margarine melted
    1 c. ground nuts (optional)
    1 c. coconut
    1 c. brown sugar
    2 1/2 c. crushed rice Chex or Crispix cereal
    1/2 gal. ice cream, any flavor
Preparation
    Mix all ingredients except ice cream.
    Use a fork to mix. Put the mix on a cookie sheet spread it out.
    Set oven on about 350\u00b0. Put cookie sheet in the oven for about 3 to 5 minutes or until it bubbles.
    Take it out of oven, put part of the mix on the bottom of a 9 x 13 inch pan.
    Then take the half gallon of ice cream, cut it into slices and put it on top of the mix; spread it even.
    Put the rest of the mix on top.
    Put it in the freezer. Best if in freezer for at least 1 hour.
