Marinated Vegetable Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. cauliflower flowerets
    1 c. celery, sliced
    1 green pepper, chopped
    1/2 c. chopped red onion
    1 c. small mushrooms
    10 stuffed green olives, halved
    1/4 c. vegetable oil
    1/4 c. vinegar
    1/2 c. water
    2 tsp. salt
    1 1/2 tsp. oregano
    1/2 tsp. pepper
    dash of garlic powder
    4 or 5 tsp. sweetener or sugar
Preparation
    Bring all ingredients to a boil in a large skillet or pan at medium heat, stirring occasionally.
    Reduce heat to low and simmer 5 minutes.
    (If you use Sweet 'N Low or Equal, etc., add after mixture has been heated.)
    Refrigerate at least 24 hours.
    Serve cold.
