Chili: With Or Without Beans - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 lb. chili meat
2 bay leaves
1 qt. water
6 Tbsp. chili powder
3 tsp. salt
10 cloves garlic, chopped
1 tsp. cumin (comino)
1 tsp. oregano
1 tsp. red pepper or less
1/2 tsp. black pepper
1 Tbsp. sugar
3 Tbsp. paprika
1 lb. can pinto beans for each lb. meat
3 Tbsp. flour
6 Tbsp. cornmeal
Preparation

Start meat slowly in heavy pot.
If meat is very lean add 1/4 cup olive oil, stirring occasionally until meat loses red color. Add bay leaves and water (more water can be added anywhere along the line).
Cook on simmer for an hour, covered.
