White Fruit Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. all-purpose flour
    1 c. sugar
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1/4 tsp. salt
    2/3 c. butter (real)
    6 egg whites
    1 c. coconut (no other nuts may be used)
    1 c. white raisins
    2 c. mixed candied fruit (1 lb. pkg.)
Preparation
    Sift together first four ingredients.
    Add butter and blend with 2 knives or pastry blender.
    Save some candied fruit for decoration.
    Measure and mix coconut, raisins and candied fruit. Add to flour mixture.
    Mix well.
    Beat egg whites stiff but not dry.
