Fudge Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 oz. unsweetened chocolate
    1/2 c. water
    1/2 c. sugar
    2 c. cake flour
    1 tsp. soda
    1 tsp. salt
    1/2 c. shortening
    1 1/4 c. sugar
    3 eggs
    3/4 c. milk
Preparation
    Heat the chocolate and water in a saucepan until thick.
    Add 1/2 cup sugar; continue cooking for 2 minutes.
    Cool to lukewarm. Sift together the cake flour, soda and salt.
    Cream the shortening.
    Gradually add 1 1/4 cups sugar; cream until fluffy. Add the eggs, one at a time, beating well after each.
    Beginning and ending with dry ingredients, add the milk to the creamed mixture.
    Beat well after each addition.
    Add cooled chocolate mixture.
    Bake in a 350\u00b0 oven until tests done.
