Oatmeal Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 1/2 c. boiling water
1 c. quick oats
1 c. white sugar
1 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. butter
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
1/8 tsp. salt
1 tsp. soda
1 Tbsp. cocoa
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1 1/2 c. flour
Preparation

Stir quick oats into water and set aside.
Cream sugars and butter.
Add hot oats.
Add unbeaten eggs and vanilla.
Mix flour, salt, soda, cocoa and cinnamon.
Add alternately with oat mixture. Blend well after each addition.
Spray a 9 x 13-inch pan with Pam and pour batter into pan.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 to 35 minutes.
Do not overbake.
