Ingredients

1 box hash browns
1 1/3 c. hot water
3 Tbsp. margarine
1 tsp. salt
8 slices bacon, cut in pieces and browned
1 1/2 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
1/4 c. diced green pepper
2 eggs
1/2 c. milk
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
Preparation

Mix first four items in skillet, cook over medium heat until water is absorbed.
Press into ungreased 9-inch pie plate.
Bake at 425\u00b0 for 25 minutes.
Combine cooked bacon, cheese, and green pepper.
Spoon over crust.
In small bowl beat eggs, milk, salt and pepper.
Pour over all.
Reduce heat to 350\u00b0.
Bake 25 to 30 minutes.
Allow to stand 10 minutes before cutting.
Serves 6.
